Do you ever feel as if you are reliving the same day?
Do you ever feel frustrated when something that is right in front of you cannot be seen?
I’ve had a month to calm down.
Clear my head, do my research and formulate more constructive words.
This is a long one. I will be covering a difficult subject. It is important that if you come down this rabbit hole with me that you stay through till the end.
It’s not about the people, it’s not about the country they are from or the colour of their skin.
Many may defend it as a race – Islam is not a race. It is a set of ideas and beliefs. Why is it immune to critique and reform?
Yes of course ‘the majority of Muslims are peaceful people’. That goes without saying.
Yes of course US foreign policy has largely created and contributed to the rise in ‘radical Islam’ but we are here now in the present. Not 25 years ago.
What still needs to be said and accepted is that the current doctrines of Islam are not compatible with the modern world. Islam needs a reformation and shutting down speech about this issue is to shut the mouths and endanger the lives of the Imams and reformers such as Raheel Raza currently working to help this issue.
It’s far easier to act as if critics of Islam have a problem with Muslims than it is to accept the uncomfortable truth that is before us. Storm clouds are looming.
While Middle Eastern countries have become accustomed to daily acts of terrorism,
When it comes to the west I fear you can only poke the bear so many times…
Foreword on Political Correctness:
Political correctness has grown immensely over the past 20 years. It started trying to censor jokes.
Now it censors criticism and any ideas that are not ‘socially acceptable’ or might hurt someone’s feelings. Boo Hoo.
Political Correctness and extreme tolerance go hand in hand. Like a parasite it erodes the very ground on which we stand. It has created what is now labelled as the loony bin of the ‘regressive left’.
The truth and Political correctness cannot coexist. You either have what is true and what is right.
Or you have what is socially acceptable. What will get you brownie points with your ‘virtuous’ friends (or even worse, elected in a political office).
Those two things are exclusive.
You want a grade A example of the damage PC culture has wrought? Europe.
As a young, dumb millennial – with no prospects of owning a house, a financial crisis, and a looming race war staring me down the face – I still want to travel the world. I want to see and experience a range of cultures. To see the great art and architecture of historical Europe. To explore the Taj Mahal. Wonder the desolate plains of Mongolia. To experience the markets and Bazaar’s of Istanbul. Sadly the current trajectory of history is not looking so good.
PC culture stopped the San Bernadino perpetrators from being caught before their terror attack.
PC culture stopped Omar Marteem from being caught before he murdered 50 people and injured another 50 because they didn’t want to ‘be racist’ they didn’t want to seem as if they were ‘racially profiling’.
PC culture is censoring people on social media. I would not be surprised if this gets me a temporary ban.
The Reformation of ISLAM
This is the big story of our time. Our forefathers had Nazism. We have Islamism.
Political correctness is actively stopping the criticism of an ideology that embodies the mayhem of the Middle East. That encourages extremism and intolerance to the freedoms we hold dear in the west.
Common sense and statistical fact are being demonized, denied and defied on every front.
No other ideology has that much protection.
Christianity has been reformed, why can’t Islam?
It is not the criticism of Islam that harms the vast majority of Muslim’s that love freedom and hate terror. That would be the ‘Radical Muslims’ themselves. Already just in 2016 we have had 1268 Islamic terrorist attacks in over 50 countries in which 11664 people have been killed and countless injured or raped. That is not including the 4 attacks today.
The word ‘Islamaphobia’ has been created through PC culture to silence any opposing thought. A term of propaganda invented to label those who are critically thinking and stifle conversation…
Now world leaders use it to shut down discussion and avoid the hard questions.
It is disingenuous? Phobia is an irrational fear. Is it irrational to be more afraid of Islam than Mormonism? What about Buddhism?
The fact that you can have an Imam preaching in Florida just weeks before Orlando stating that “Death is the sentence.” And that it is the compassionate thing to kill gay people.
Why is even the LGBT community so allergic to having the truth pointed out to them? A belief system that believes it is compassionate to kill them for their sins.
We aren’t just talking about extremists here. The % of British Muslims polled that said homosexuality was moral = 0%
0% in Cameroon, 0% in Ethiopia
1% in Nigeria Tanzania, Mali, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, in the Palestinian territories and Iraq
2% in Kenya, Chad, Jordan, Tunisia,
10% in Bangladesh
To all you Black Lives Matter supporters guess what? There is more slavery in the world now than there ever has been. Guess where it is?
It is estimated that 20% of the Muslim population are ‘Islamist’s’ or ‘Jihadists’ what we call ‘radicals’. That works out to about 300 million ‘radicals’. Suddenly when put in perspective that minority is a force to be reckoned with.
The truth is that the common Muslim in these countries that is affected much more than we are. They are born into a medieval belief system that will at worst enslave and mutilate their bodies if they are women, execute them for their homosexuality or if they leave ‘the faith’.
At best cause them to aspire to kill others not in the faith. To blow themselves up for Allah.
Yes some of what is listed above applies or has applied to other religions and sects but there is nothing like Islam at this moment in history for generating this kind of intolerance.
Having an open dialogue is not about being able to express hatred towards Muslims.
It is the only way to support the Muslim community, the reformers, the free thinkers and the gays who are living under the sword, bomb (and now truck) of their theocracy.
If steps are not taken. If Islam is not reformed or assimilated into the west there will soon be a great war. It was predicted 200 years ago by a civil war general. (if you are into your conspiracies)
To be fair it is an easy prediction to make.
We are in a predicament. To act is to lose. To not act is to lose. An open discussion needs to be had and the world leaders need to address this issue. Their current course of action already has the blood of over 20,000 people alone this year on their hands.
How many more attacks will it take?
How long will the bear allow itself to be poked and prodded…
