Apologies for the missed week and late upload this week. Will be working on getting email list done and the commenting system fixed when I am back from working out of town. Below are some more Nordic style Dot-work art pieces from my Bus Drive Doodling in 2015. I was asked if I Photoshop my images, yes of course. My phone camera does not do them justice so I usually tweak the brightness/contrast and make them Greyscale #nofilter
This weeks Art Dump features some more Viking masks. Because one of my favourite shows History’s Vikings is back for its fourth season I am planning on drawing one for each of the characters.
Below You will see one for Athelstan (Applestand for the true fans) and a fan favourite who is in some trouble this season Floki. the other two are based off one of Thor’s Rams and the other one of Gefjon’s (Goddess of fertility and farming) Ox’s, thought to have plowed the fertile Danish island of Zealand.
To get into a habit of producing artwork, be they drawings, doodles, 3D art or digital paintings, in my spare time and keeping my skills up I will upload some artwork here each Friday – or in this case the night before Friday as I leave town for work in the morning.

The following drawings are highly influenced by the Japanese Irezumi style of art. Irezumi is the traditional Japanese art style used primarily in tattooing. Classically covering the body with mythical beasts, flowers, leafs and other symbols from Japanese mythology.
To be honest these are just doodles that I enjoy doing in my spare time i.e bus rides and lectures. The art is filled with flowing forms from the shapes of the waves and wind usually with scattered cherry blossoms (common emblems representing the fragility and swift beauty of life) filling the background.
